Heimat- und Landlermuseum

Housed in the former 'Auszugshaus' of the Goisern Mill in the heart of the UNESCO Hallstatt-Dachstein/Salzkammergut World Heritage region, the Heimat- und Landlermuseum Bad Goisern explores local crafts and culture — including the famous 'Goiserer' boots and a Konrad-Deubler memorial room. The adjoining Landlermuseum tells the story of the 18th-century Protestant 'Landler' who were transmigrated to Transylvania, with around 350 original everyday and festive objects.
