Heimat- und Landlermuseum

The Heimat- und Landlermuseum in Bad Goisern presents the local history and culture of the Salzkammergut region. Highlights include an original fully-furnished shoemaker's workshop showcasing the production of traditional "Goiserer" shoes, exhibits on Goiserer violins, and a dedicated Landler Museum section documenting the history of Protestant refugees expelled to Transylvania in the 18th century. The museum also features a section on Konrad Deubler (1814–1884), a notable local farmer, mayor, and philosopher.
