Freilichtmuseum Stehrerhof

The Freilichtmuseum Stehrerhof in Neukirchen an der Vöckla, Upper Austria, is a listed open-air ensemble that documents 19th-century rural life in the Vöcklabruck district. Visitors can tour the historic farmhouse, the Handwerkerhaus showcasing traditional trades, the Dreschmaschinenmuseum (threshing-machine museum) and a herb garden. Special seasonal events such as the Druschwochen (threshing weeks) bring traditional harvest practices back to life, and visitors can enjoy the famous "Stehrerhofkrapfen" baked from a great-grandmother's recipe.
