Carlo´s Atelier - Wirkungsstätte des Kunstmalers Carlo Battisti

Carlo's Atelier in Bad Ischl, Austria, was the workplace of painter Carlo Battisti and is housed at the Café Casino, home of the oldest preserved beer cellar in Bad Ischl, dating back to 1625. The 1,500m³ medieval vaulted "Grieblkeller" — formerly used by the Ischler Brewery until 1908 — combines the artist's atelier with a 60-minute guided cellar tour that explores 25,000 years of history. Visitors can also enjoy house-brewed beer specialties in the historic brewing parlour.
