Lungauer Heimatmuseum

The Lungauer Heimatmuseum (Lungau Heritage Museum) in Tamsweg, Salzburg, preserves the folk culture, history, and traditions of the Lungau region — a remote alpine valley in southern Austria with a distinctive cultural identity. The museum is operated by the Lungauer Museumsverein Tamsweg and presents collections relating to the region's rural life, crafts, customs, and history. The museum is currently undergoing renovation with exhibitions expected to reopen in late June.
