Felberturmmuseum

The Felberturm Museum in Mittersill, in Salzburg's Pinzgau region, occupies a historic medieval tower and adjoining farmhouse. The newly redesigned permanent exhibition (reopened 2021) covers the cross-Alpine pack trade ("Saumhandel"), the history and development of Mittersill, and the everyday life of local farmers and packers. The site also includes the former 1609 schoolhouse and forms part of the Museumswelten Hohe Tauern network.
