Heimatmuseum Bezau

Museum Bezau is a place of history, culture and the present, where old meets new under one roof. Its four thematic narratives explore Bregenzerwald domestic culture (Kuche-Stubô-Gadô), women's roles and crafts (including embroidery and the regional Tracht), the Bregenzerwald master-builders of the Baroque era, and the myths and self-image of the region. The 2025-2027 special exhibition 'Foto Hiller — Bildgeschichte Bregenzerwald' tells a hundred-year regional story in photographs.
