Haydn-Haus Eisenstadt

The Haydn-Haus Eisenstadt was the residence of composer Joseph Haydn from 1766 to 1778 during his service to the Esterházy family. Now home to the Eisenstadt Haydn Museum, it preserves Haydn's legacy with a collection that includes original portraits, personal letters, scores and musical dedications. The carefully restored historic house in Burgenland offers visitors an intimate look at the working life of one of the most important composers of the Classical era.
