Felsenmuseum

The Felsenmuseum Bernstein in Burgenland, Austria, combines a "Schaubergwerk" (show mine) with collections devoted to the local Edelserpentin (precious serpentine) gemstone, mineralogy, fossils and crystals. Highlights include the lifework display of master carver Otto Potsch, the "Fossiles Gold" exhibition, workshops, special exhibitions and guided tours of the workshops where serpentine has been worked for generations.
