Brahms-Museum

The Brahms-Museum in Mürzzuschlag, Austria is dedicated to the composer Johannes Brahms, who spent the summers of 1884 and 1885 in the town and composed his Fourth Symphony there. The museum displays Brahms' personal belongings, original manuscripts, instruments and other memorabilia, and runs an active concert programme including the annual Brahmsfest. Visitors can also follow the Brahmsweg through Mürzzuschlag and learn about the work of the Brahms-Gesellschaft.
