Archäologisches Pilgermuseum
The Archäologisches Pilgermuseum Globasnitz (Hemmaberg-Juenna) in Carinthia reopened after renovation in 2006 and presents late antique and early Christian finds from excavations on the Hemmaberg together with material from the Roman settlement and East Gothic cemetery in the valley below. Displays include mosaics from early Christian churches on the Hemmaberg, the basin from the legendary Rosaliengrotte, reliefs and inscriptions, a replica of the East Gothic cemetery, and the Hemma legend. In 2014 it became the first museum in Carinthia to receive the Austrian Museum Quality Seal.
