Keltenwelt Frög
Keltenwelt Frög is an open-air archaeological museum (Freilichtmuseum) in Frög-Rosegg, Carinthia, Austria, dedicated to the Hallstatt culture of the early Iron Age (around 800–400 BC). The site is centred on a remarkable Hallstatt-period burial ground where over 200 tumulus graves were excavated, revealing rich grave goods including weapons, jewellery, and ceramics. The museum brings this 3,000-year-old Celtic world to life through reconstructed structures, exhibitions of original finds, and hands-on programmes for children and families. The site also encompasses Roman-era remains, as both Celts and Romans settled the Rosegg area along the Drau river.
