City Park Radio Museum

The City Park Radio Museum is housed in the heritage City Park Cottage in Launceston, Tasmania, alongside the studios of community broadcaster City Park Radio. The collection includes more than 50 vintage radios dating back to the early 1930s — Astor, Stromberg-Carlson, Philips, AWA, HMV, Hotpoint, Kriesler, Breville, STC, Ferris and many more — together with radio memorabilia and live broadcasting demonstrations from the updated stables studios. The cottage, originally the Park Caretaker's home, is over 100 years old, and visitors can also see what is reputed to be the oldest wisteria tree in Australia.
