Bunurong Environment Centre & Shell Museum

The Bunurong Environment Centre in Inverloch is the home of the world-class Inverloch Shell Museum, with over 6,000 specimens including many local varieties. Operated by the South Gippsland Conservation Society, the centre also features a Discovery Room with dinosaur fossils, hands-on exhibits, environmental videos, and interactive learning resources for children and adults. It serves as a starting point for learning about the unique plants, animals, ecology, and geology of the Bunurong Coast and South Gippsland region.
