Moonta Mines Model School Museum - National Trust
The Moonta Mines Museum occupies the former Moonta Mines Model School, built in 1878, and houses 14 rooms of exhibits dedicated to the Cornish miners who came to the region for copper mining between 1861 and 1923. Collections include costumes, china, silverware, photographs, and memorabilia, with themed sections on mining, social organizations, and period domestic life.
