Eastern Goldfields Historical Society
The Eastern Goldfields Historical Society, founded in 1946, records, preserves, researches and promotes the history of the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, where the Coolgardie gold rushes of 1892 sparked rapid mining settlement. Housed in the Old Boulder Municipal Power Station Building, the society's displays include extensive historical photographs, books, reference materials and significant objects from the region's mining and pastoral past.
