Canowindra Historical Society Museum
The Canowindra Historical Society and Museum was founded in 1967 and is run entirely by volunteers in Canowindra, New South Wales. Located at 117 Gaskill Street, the museum collects, preserves, displays and documents objects associated with the district's history, with a unique collection ranging from a hot air balloon to buttons and pins, and outbuildings including the Woolshed, Tractor Shed and the historic "Meringanowry" Shepherds' Slab Hut. Admission is free, with donations appreciated.
