Great Cobar Heritage Centre
The Great Cobar Heritage Centre, housed in the 1912 administration building of the Great Cobar Copper Mine in outback New South Wales, tells the story of one of Australia's leading copper, gold, and silver mining centres. Refreshed in 2021, the museum's exhibitions span Cobar's mining heritage, social history, and an extensive outdoor display including a restored Baby Health Clinic railway carriage. It celebrates the town's role as the home of the Royal Far West Health Scheme.
