Matta House-National Trust
Matta House is a historic property in Kadina, South Australia, built in 1863 as the residence of the Manager of the Matta Matta Mine during the Yorke Peninsula copper-mining era. Managed by the National Trust of Australia (SA), the house is preserved as a testament to the region's colonial and mining heritage. Admission includes entry to the adjacent Farm Shed Heritage Museum, where visitors can explore agricultural history and rural life from the same era. Together, the two sites offer a rich picture of 19th-century life in the copper triangle of South Australia.
