Cobham Hall Museum
Cobham Hall is a historic manor built in 1826 by Solomon Wiseman for his second wife Sophia, set high on the hillside overlooking Wisemans Ferry. Featuring Sydney Basin sandstone walls with mortar made from cooked oyster shells and original convict-hewn rafters, it is one of the few buildings from this era still standing in Australia. The hall inspired Kate Grenville's novel "The Secret River."
