Australian War Memorial
The Australian War Memorial in Canberra is Australia's national memorial to the members of its armed forces and supporting organisations who have died or served in wars involving the Commonwealth of Australia. It combines a shrine, a world-class museum and an extensive archive, with galleries covering conflicts from the Sudan campaign and the First World War through to contemporary operations. General entry is free, and the Memorial's Research Centre supports scholarly and family-history study.
