Commissariat Store
The Commissariat Store in Brisbane is Queensland's oldest habitable and most architecturally significant heritage building. The lower two floors were convict-built between 1828 and 1829, with a third floor added in 1913, and the building now operates as a museum showcasing Queensland's colonial and convict history. It is run by volunteers from The Royal Historical Society of Queensland and is located in Brisbane's CBD near North Quay.
