Australian Aviation Heritage Centre

The Darwin Aviation Museum (formerly the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre) is an accredited Northern Territory tourism attraction that hosts around 30,000 visitors a year and tells the story of aviation in Australia's Top End. Its collection includes 19 aircraft, 21 engines and 38 major displays \u2014 among them a B-25 Mitchell Bomber, a replica Spitfire, a Mirage, an Avon Sabre, a B-52 Bomber, an F-111C, an RAN Wessex helicopter that assisted in Cyclone Tracy clean-up and the wreckage of a Japanese Zero fighter shot down during the 1942 bombing of Darwin.
