Gilgandra Rural Museum

The Gilgandra Rural Museum, in Gilgandra, New South Wales, displays rural lifestyle items, tractors, farm machinery and windmills. A featured Howard machinery display honours Arthur Clifford Howard, who built and tested his first prototypes on his father's farm in the Gilgandra Shire in 1912 — a working exhibit powered by an adjacent windmill. The museum is operated entirely by volunteers under the motto "Preserving the past for present and future generations".
