Cable Tram Depot

Portland Cable Trams runs a 7.4 km heritage cable-tram route along the foreshore of Portland, Victoria, using lovingly restored saloon and grip cars. The trams are operated by passionate volunteers and rated as Portland's number-one tourist attraction on TripAdvisor; tickets allow visitors to hop on and off at attractions including the Portland Maritime Discovery Centre, Powerhouse Museum, World War II Memorial lookout and Botanic Gardens. Their own depot museum holds model trains and the largest private gemstone collection in the southern hemisphere.
