The Gämiçilik Muzeyi (Surakhani Ship Museum) in Baku, Azerbaijan, is the world's first tanker museum, serving as a unique bridge between Azerbaijan's maritime past and future. Housed aboard a historic tanker vessel, the museum presents the history of Azerbaijan's oil industry and seafaring heritage through exhibits, a virtual 360° tour, and an onboard restaurant and souvenir shop. The museum commemorates the pioneering role of the Caspian fleet in the development of the Azerbaijani oil industry.
