Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments

The Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments is Japan's first municipal museum dedicated to musical instruments, established in 1981 as part of Hamamatsu City's "Creation of a City of Music" initiative. The museum collects, preserves, and researches musical instruments from around the world, displaying approximately 1,500 items organized by region, type, and era.
