HIPPO.WAR

HIPPO.WAR is a visitor centre in Waregem, Belgium, dedicated to the role of horses in World War I and the decisive contribution of American forces on the Western Front. The museum features two permanent exhibitions exploring these intertwined stories, as well as a temporary exhibition space and an immersive audio experience following a horse named Woody through the war. Waregem is home to the only American military cemetery in Belgium, making this an especially meaningful site for this history.
