Le Bois du Cazier

Le Bois du Cazier is a unique cultural heritage site south of Charleroi, Belgium, featuring three museums dedicated to the coal, steel, and glass industries set within 25 hectares of woodland and surrounded by historic slag heaps. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it preserves the industrial legacy of Wallonia and commemorates the victims of the 1956 Marcinelle mining disaster.
