Chimay Experience

Chimay Expérience is an interactive exhibition that takes visitors inside the secrets behind the Trappist beers and cheeses produced at the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Scourmont. Highlights include an animated model of the abbey, a virtual guest book and an ingredients showcase, with the visit concluding at the Auberge de Poteaupré, where guests can enjoy a Chimay served on tap. A 10–15 minute walk away, the abbey grounds, church and cemetery are open to visitors, while the brewery itself remains within the monastery and is closed to the public.
