Atelier Roger Raveel
The Atelier Roger Raveel in Machelen-aan-de-Leie preserves the former home and studio of the Belgian painter Roger Raveel (1921–2013), one of the most important post-war artists of the Low Countries. Now a small museum open by appointment, the atelier lets visitors step into the intimate world of Raveel's "New Vision" painting and discover his graphics studio, where he created etchings, woodcuts and linocuts. A separate dedicated Roger Raveel Museum is nearby.
