Canada-Poland War II Museum
The Canada–Poland War II Museum in Adegem (Maldegem), Belgium, is a private museum founded in 1994 by the Van Landschoot family in honour of the Canadian and Polish soldiers who liberated the area during Operation Switchback (Battle of the Scheldt — Breskens Pocket) starting on 6 October 1944. Its collection features hundreds of complete uniforms and pieces of equipment of Canadian, Polish, Belgian and British soldiers presented in lifelike dioramas, a Maple Leaf miniature exhibition of battlefields at 1/35 scale, a tea-room "De Canadees", school programmes, and a memorial garden.
