Butcher's Hall

Museum Vleeshuis (the Butcher's Hall) is Antwerp's music museum, housed in a late-Gothic former meat market on the Vleeshouwersstraat. It celebrates the rich musical heritage of the city, presenting historical instruments, manuscripts and the famous Antwerp 'Stadsgitaar'. The museum is currently closed for restoration ahead of major renewal works starting in autumn 2026, but continues to host concerts, listening sessions and pop-up activities elsewhere in Antwerp.
