Command Bunker Kemmel
The Kemmel Command Bunker is a Cold War-era underground facility built into the flank of Mount Kemmel in Belgium by the Belgian army between 1951 and 1953. It served as the headquarters of Belgium's air defence system during the Cold War and is now open to visitors as a unique piece of military heritage. The site offers a rare opportunity to explore a well-preserved Cold War command installation in the heart of historic Flanders.
