Belfort

The Belfort (Belfry) of Ghent, together with the St. Nicholas Church and St. Bavo's Cathedral, defines the city's iconic skyline. Since the Middle Ages this tower has been the symbol of urban prosperity and independence, with a fiery dragon weathervane watching over the historic centre.
