FIBAC

FIBAC (Filips Ingrid Belgian Art Center) is a private art center in Berchem dedicated to Belgian abstract art. The collection began some thirty years ago and includes early Belgian abstract artists like Marthe Donas, Jozef Peeters, Karel Maes, Pierre-Louis Flouquet, and Paul Joostens, alongside the second abstract wave of the 1950s and 60s with artists like Paul Van Hoeydonck, Walter Leblanc, and Marc Verstockt. Housed in a beautifully restored former parish hall in the Pulhof district, the center also showcases contemporary art and modernist photography.
