Belgian Comic Strip Center

The Belgian Comic Strip Center (Centre Belge de la Bande Dessinée / Musée de la Bande Dessinée) in Brussels celebrates Belgium's contribution to the world of comics, the so-called Ninth Art. Housed in the magnificent former Waucquez warehouse designed by Art Nouveau master Victor Horta, the museum features permanent exhibitions on the invention of the comic strip, the art of comics, the building's Horta architecture, a century of Belgian comics, the awakening of LITTLE NEMO, and a dedicated Marc Sleen House. It also includes a documentation library, reading room, brasserie, and Slumberland bookshop.
