KAGA-HONDA MUSEUM

The Kaga-Honda Museum in Kanazawa's Kenroku-en cultural zone displays the artifacts and heritage of the Honda clan, one of the most powerful samurai families of the Kaga Domain. The collection includes battle formation gear, complete horse harnesses, horse trial equipment, armor, and weaponry, making it one of Japan's rare dedicated samurai artifact museums. The Honda family served as senior retainers to the Maeda lords who ruled Kaga for over 300 years.
