Asahi Group Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art

Located at the foot of Mt. Tennozan in Kyoto Pref., a British-style villa awaits visitors with annexes designed by Tadao Ando. We strive to safeguard the invaluable architecture and the exquisite garden for future generations, while communicating the museum’s distinct cultural features. Our exhibitions include artworks related to the Mingei Movement greatly supported by Tamesaburo Yamamoto (first president of Asahi Breweries) and “Water Lilies” by Claude Monet, master of the impressionist school. Also, numerous trees and plants in the garden will delight you with its seasonal changes.
