Lu Xun Museum

The Lu Xun Museum in Beijing is dedicated to the life and literary legacy of Lu Xun (1881–1936), widely regarded as the father of modern Chinese literature. Located in the Xicheng district adjacent to Lu Xun's former residence, where he lived from 1924 to 1926 and wrote some of his most significant works, the museum displays manuscripts, letters, photographs, personal belongings, and first editions of his celebrated works including A Madman's Diary and The True Story of Ah Q. The museum charts Lu Xun's profound influence on 20th-century Chinese culture and his enduring relevance as a voice of social critique and humanist reform.
