HIROSHIMA CITY TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM

Our regular exhibition includes the "Vehicle City", a 20-meter diameter cityscape with future means of transportation, and 2,000 models of land, sea, and air vehicles that provide visitors various facts. At the open-air plaza, "Funny Bicycles" and "Battery-powered Carts" are available for riding, and on display is the actual tram that survived the atomic bomb and stayed in service for more than 60 years. We hold special exhibitions 3 times a year along with hands-on events, etc. Also popular are our museum shop and the library with a collection of vehicle-related books and visual materials.
