Uchiko History & Folklore Museum (Museum of Commercial & Domestic Life)
This museum is open to the public as the Museum of Commercial and Domestic Life. The building and the site of the Sano pharmacy from the Meiji period (1868–1912) was bought by Uchiko-Town to preserve and restore this traditional building. The main building shows the daily life of a pharmacy in 1921, reproduced with mannequins and the use of tools of that time. The history of Uchiko is displayed in the storehouse.
