Humen Lin Zexu Memorial Hall

The Humen Lin Zexu Memorial Hall in Dongguan, Guangdong commemorates Lin Zexu, the Qing dynasty commissioner who led the campaign to suppress the opium trade, an act that triggered the First Opium War (1839–1842). The hall houses historical artifacts, documents, and exhibits relating to Lin Zexu, the Opium War, and the broader history of Humen, and serves as a patriotism education base.
