Dazaifu Tenmangu Museum

KEIDAI ART MUSEUM is the contemporary art program at Dazaifu Tenmangu, the shrine in Fukuoka dedicated to Sugawara Michizane, the deity of learning, culture, and the arts. Exhibitions are mainly held within the Dazaifu Tenmangu Museum and across the shrine's grounds, with a collection ranging from historical properties to works of contemporary art. The site presents current exhibitions, archived projects, articles and a map of permanent works on the shrine grounds.
