Fukuoka City Museum
The Fukuoka City Museum tells the story of Fukuoka — a city facing the Genkai-nada Sea on the northern tip of Kyushu — and the lifestyle of the people of this gateway region. Permanent exhibitions cover the area's role as a doorway to foreign cultures, its production and economic life, and the threats and challenges that shaped local identity.
