Iki City Ikikoku Museum

The Iki City Ikikoku Museum (壱岐市立一支国博物館) is a history museum on Iki Island, Nagasaki Prefecture, dedicated to the ancient Ikikoku civilisation that thrived here during the Yayoi period (ca. 300 BCE–300 CE). The museum displays valuable archaeological finds excavated from across the island, including earthenware, ritual bronze mirrors, and other artefacts. An interactive corner lets visitors handle replica objects, and a theatre presents the island's storied ancient history. The museum stands near the Harunotsuji site, the largest Yayoi-period settlement site in Japan.
