Buštěhradské muzeum Oty Pavla

The Buštěhrad Museum of Ota Pavel is dedicated to the celebrated Czech writer Ota Pavel and to the history of the town of Buštěhrad. Founded in 2002 by the civic association Buštěhrad sobě in the historic house of František Rott on Palackého ulice, the exhibition combines unique documents, photographs and personal objects from the writer's life — including his typewriter, fishing rods and childhood teddy — with a section on Buštěhrad's history and notable citizens. The museum is open at weekends from March, with weekday visits available for booked groups.
