George Tranoscius Museum

The Památník Jiřího Třanovského (Memorial to Jiří Třanovský / George Tranoscius) opened on 29 December 2013 in the Czech village of Třanovice, the ancestral home of the influential 17th-century Lutheran hymnist sometimes called the "Slavic Luther." Operated by the local SCEAV congregation, the permanent exhibition presents Tranoscius's life, work and lasting national, cultural and spiritual legacy across Slavic communities.
