Aichi Asahi Site Museum

It Kokelhûs is a small, atmospheric house museum located in the village of Earnewâld in Friesland, the Netherlands. The original house was built in 1777 by a peat master and is one of the oldest museums in Earnewâld. It was the home of Jan and Sjut van den Berg, who ran a small grocery shop and sold milk, and also worked as peat cutters and farmers. Since 1957, the house has been preserved as a museum by volunteers, showcasing the interiors and everyday life of a traditional Frisian household. Admission is by appointment.
