Chrustenická šachta
Chrustenická šachta is a former mining shaft in Chrustenice (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic) reopened as a guided mining exhibition. Visitors take a ride on a small mine train through the underground galleries, see working excavator and drill demonstrations, and explore the history of the site. The shaft has a constant 10°C temperature year-round and runs special seasonal programmes — Easter visits, St Nicholas family days, Christmas events and dramatised tellings of the local Hagen legend.
