Drents Museum

The Drents Museum in Assen, Netherlands, presents a wide-ranging collection covering archaeology, history and art. Highlights include the Yde Girl, the oldest boat in the world, paintings by Van Gogh and works of late 19th- and early 20th-century art (including the Pulchri school). The museum runs major temporary exhibitions, an extensive education programme, and operates a second site, DM De Buitenplaats, in Eelde.
